Your profile

You are experienced in transforming big data to added value for our clients. You want to help our clients to understand and make use of their data to improve their processes and inform their decision making. Furthermore you are responsible for the development and deployment of modern machine learning, statistical and ensemble methods for finding patterns and models from business and operational data. You use analytics and data to understand business KPIs and to develop ways to extend them towards increasing fidelity or insight.

In addition, you:

  • should hold a Bachelor or Master degree in a quantitative field (mathematics, computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning)
  • should bring at least 3-5 years of IT experience together with SAS, R or SPSS programming

Clinical Statistician – (Permanent)

This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious SAS consultancy with a powerful and successful consultancy base. As a Clinical Statistician you will provide the statistical input into Phase I – IV clinical trial development, perform the analysis of clinical trial data, and provide statistical input into the reporting of clinical trial results. Your activities will consist of preparing the analysis plans and write detailed specifications for analysis files, tables, listings and figures. You interpret analyses and write statistical sections of study reports, producing the statistical deliverables and/or exploratory analysis of important clinical development consequence for one or more clinical trials.

Your profile

You have familiarity with moderately complex statistical methods that apply to Phase I-IV clinical trials and have a working knowledge of SAS Base and SAS Macro. You know what it means to work in a regulated environment and are aware of the importance of quality. You are able to deliver within the expected timeframe. In addition, you:

  • hold a Master degree in biostatistics or related field
  • bring at least three years of relevant working experience
  • have experience with working in a regulated environment
  • have strong working knowledge of SAS software
  • are at least SAS Clinical Trials certified, or the willingness to obtain the certificate
  • are professionally proficient in the English language, both spoken and written
  • have an enthusiastic and motivated personality
  • have an independent and pro-active attitude.

Your profile

Your activities will consist of providing timely and professional ongoing management of clinical trial data of phase I, II, III and IV (clinical) trials. Our clients are active in the life sciences sector, e.g. pharmaceuticals, nutrition and medical devices. Activities are undertaken at the clients’ offices or at OCS’ offices in Switzerland or the Netherlands.

In addition, you:

  • hold an academic degree in a scientific or technical
  • have experience in clinical data management
  • have experience with Clintrial, or a similar clinical data management system
  • have preferable experience with CDISC/CDASH
  • have preferable experience with SAS or similar software
  • demonstrate the ability to take initiatives, work independently and precise
  • are fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • have an enthusiastic and motivated personality

SAS Project Manager Life Sciences – (Permanent)

OCS Consulting is a successful IT Consultancy looking to recruit a permanent SAS Project Manager operating in the life sciences industry. In this leadership position you will manage all operational aspects of SAS statistical programming, biostatistics and data management. You will be a strong lead/manager dedicated to the business unit with responsibility to project resourcing and supervise the team as well as address escalated issues, performance issues, performance and assignments, training and administrative issues. In your function as Project Manager you will execute both project management and resource allocation activities as well as hands‑on project delivery activities.

Your profile

You have the ability to develop business both inside and outside your existing network.
